Another good time with family

Some photos of one of our family get togethers. Also shortly after Tom and Sandi came from Dawson Creek to visit his Mom and came to stay with us also while they were down this way. And here is a pic of me and our brand new Yaris.

Cheryl's Visit to Mom's House

Here are some pictures of Cheryl visiting us from Fort St. John. As you can see, she enjoyed her time very much and was quite happy. Also pictured is Cheryl with her house supervisor, who drives her here from Fort St. John and stays with us while they are here.

Parksville and Nanaimo

When we went to Parksville to visit Craigs' Mom there was a sand castle competition going on so we decided to take it in, since I had never seen one. The creations and ideas were amazing as you can see in these pictures.
Here also is Craig and his Mom in her new place in the assisted living care facility.

A Weekend Camping at Green Lake

Friends and family

Another busy time at our house. Blake, Ann and the girls came for a visit. Here we all are in Penticton having a picnic after floating down the channel. Craig's brother, Eric and Wendy came on a bike trip and stopped off for a few days before going on to their favorite campground in Osooyos.

We had snowbird friends from Yuma stop and visit also during their Canadian trip on their way through to see other snowbird friends. Craig just loves their dog. She is a King Charles Spaniel and her name is Lily.

Also pictured is Tom and Sandi. We always park our trailer at their place when we do the northern loop to see old friends, grandkids and Cheryl.

First of all we all gathered at Shari's Mom and Dad's place, just out of Valleyview.

They are super people and we had a great time while there and lots of good food as well, of course. The kids have a great time out there, riding quads, bikes and lots of room to do it in.

After we left their place, we continued on to Dawson Creek to see grandson Daniel, Candace and great grandson, Isiah. They had just moved there, so we were able to visit with them as well.

Cariboo visit

We were invited to help celebrate Jim's 60th birthday. It was a great party and we had a very good time. So much good food. Ron and Louise made a birthday card for Jim with old photos of him aging throughout the years. While we were there we drove out to Al and Heather's, checked out the progress on their house and had a great visit with them.

We have arrived at Hal and Jeanette's place and Craig was surprised with his reward, his long awaited apple pie.

Getting ready to go home

Just before we left Yuma, Jeanette and Hal offered to trade units with us as they wouldn't be able to spend winters south anymore because of health issues. Their's was bigger and newer than ours. I thought about it and decided to stay with ours, but the more times Louise and I went in there to get it ready to haul home for them, the more I leaned toward trading. I'm glad I did and we are very happy with the layout and extra room. Ron and Craig had a little fifty cent wager going on the side. Craig was sure I wouldn't change my mind. He lost.

Karen came to visit Louise and then rode home with us. Five of us slept in the trailer and we travelled in two vehicles. We had a good trip home and a good time also.
